It expresses something uncommon in this era of American life where our leaders are chosen by their sycophantic followers even though they lie, cheat, steal, and rape children, all excusable just so long as those leaders "own libs" and make their followers feel better about losers who have accomplished nothing in life. In a time when glorifying ignorance and incentivizing nastiness and smallness are what is valued, the words on the magnet cause me to think. I am old enough to remember when the sort of intelligent and coherent thought of the sort expressed on this magnet was considered a good thing for our leaders to be capable of communicating. I am the only person in my family who grew any older as I aged across the years and the most bitter irony of all is that all of the abusive parenting that went into trying to make me believe what my parents claimed to believe actually worked. I truly do believe in character and honesty. That's why I don't vote like they do. I also don't believe in sleeping with little girls. My Christian parents are okay with that. What does any of this have to do with the magnet? If you have to ask that you probably have no clue what Senator Booker meant when he spoke those words. I served in the Army and the Marine Corps and I love the America I was willing to die for. But because that is true, since 2010, America has done nothing but break my body, break my mind, trackmark my arms, and break my heart again and again and again.
The magnet was worth what I paid for it and posting it on my parents' refrigerator and seeing their little sneers and hearing their cowardly mumbling about it made it worth a hundred times more. The seller is an incredible person, too
